A tooth extraction is when we gently and expertly remove a badly damaged or infected tooth completely from its socket. This will relieve pain and remove the risk of any infection spreading. A tooth removal also makes it easier for us to perform a cosmetic procedure, such as placing dentures or a dental implant.
